What is Thermaled Bluestone?

Thermaled bluestone is a gauged material (like tiles are cut) to make for consistent thickness, and then thermaled (flamed) on top for a consistent surface.
Thermal bluestone is great for outdoor pool decks because the surface provides for nice traction when the stone gets wet. This stone is seen in many applications because it's look lends itself to both contemporary and traditional applicatons.

Colors

Thermaled bluestone comes in both "Blue Select" or in "Full Color".

Select Blue
Very consistent in color throughout each pallet.
Full Color Bluestone
Color variation not only within the pallet, but within each stone. Color ranges from greens, to grays, to browns, to purples.
Bluestone Packaging
Bluestone typically comes standing up vertically in pallets. Depending on the quarry, you can one size per pallet, or mixed sizes.
