Vermont Slate

Quarried in one of the coldest parts of America, Slate is known for it's durability and resilience to weather. Not surprisingly, this is why you see so many slate shingles on prestigious homes around the world.
Stone Farm works with quarries to cut a thicker (1.25") slate specifically for outdoor paving. In addition, the edges are hand chiseled to give that "old world" look.

Vermont slate is one of the oldest quarried stone in the US. First quarried commercially for roof tiles, these quarries now make a range of landscape material that can be used for paving applications. Please let us know about your project and we'll find just the right product for it.
